Scripture focus for me: Isaiah 45:4-6 English Standard Version (ESV)

4 For the sake of my servant Jacob, and Israel my chosen, I call you by your name, I name you, though you do not know me. 5 I am the Lord, and there is no other, besides me there is no God; I equip you, though you do not know me, 6 that people may know, from the rising of the sun and from the west, that there is none besides me; I am the Lord, and there is no other.

Why did this scripture engage me: This answer a lot of question for those that are searching for the truth? God called me when I was at my worst in my fearful rebellion toward everything He stood for. Yet through all of my resistance He not only chose me, He called me by name and equipped me for a mission of His purpose. For God so loves this world!

Life Changer: The thought that hit my mind when reading this is, do they know from my east to west that I am chosen by the only living God? Does my life style reflect my equipping to carry out God’s purpose for me? EMANINATION time! I am taking another spiritual inventory of my inner and outer man, to see how they line up. It is my desire to display my ambassadorship for God to everyone I meet.

Prayer of gratitude and purpose: Father; I thank you once again for your decision and patience in calling me as your chosen. I pray that I may show myself worthy (through the blood of Jesus) of such an honor. Lord guide me as I walk in you so that you might walk through me, in expressing your love to all. Thank you again for loving me as my heavenly Father. Amen
