HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!

I have pondered on what to give the God of all creation, yes you know the one who does not need bulls or goats from your barn because every animal of the forest is His, plus He owns the cattle on a thousand hills and every bird on the mountain along with all the animals of the field (Psalms 50:9-12). How can we as mere mortals compete with that? I’m literally searching to answer that proverbial question, what do you get the man who has everything? I started out thinking like I would when getting a gift for any person, you know such as what they like, what they need, what they’ll use, and nothing seemed to fit the bill. That is until I received the answer through a Facebook video from AJ Moses which I hadn’t prayed for, but God knew my need and filled it. I ask you, have you ever been dumb enough to believe that you can have a secret around the man who knows the past, present, and future? Kind of futile, don’t you think? As it is spoken of in Revelation 1:8 (NLT), “I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.”
Back to the problem with my plan to give Jesus something meaningful for His birthday. As I said Jesus gave me the answer, He wanted me to have, through a Facebook Post this morning on https://www.facebook.com/aj.moses.54/videos/895751701428156, check it out. Isaiah 9:6 (NLT),
For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Jesus wants and expects nothing less from us today than the day He was born. He came to set the captives free. We no longer need to fear death, as we can now embrace it, knowing that death is not to come at the end of this life rather death is to come to one’s old nature through the complete surrender of everything to Jesus confessing and requesting forgiveness of sin. Then the bondage of death will be admonished, and it needn’t be feared for those who seriously believe. I cannot think of the birth of Jesus without thinking of John 3:16-17 (NLT), “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 17 God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.” What a great day for all of mankind; sadly, many people don’t get it.
Ok! Back to the answer of what to give Jesus as a Gift for His birthday. It all starts with knowing and I mean truly knowing who God is, which we covered in Revelation 1:8 with the beginning, the middle, and the end of everything that exists. So, then who is Jesus? In John 10:30 (NLT), “The Father and I are one” was the answer Jesus gave to the crowd. Hallelujah! But wait! It doesn’t stop there. Jesus went before God and petitioned Him to send us a helper once He was taken up. God agreed to send His Holy Spirit to dwell within us and help us navigate through this world of sin and turmoil. Ergo, we have the spirit of the creator and savior of this world, dwelling inside us. As stated in 1 Corinthians 3:16 (NLT), Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you? Wow! We come to the part of what to give Jesus for His birthday. Now I’m going to start with giving yourself (lock, stock, and barrel) to the service of Jesus and if you’ve already done that, then live what is written in Psalm 32:11 (NLT), So rejoice in the Lord and be glad, all you who obey him! Shout for joy, all you whose hearts are pure! That should be a dead giveaway as to my gift but for those that didn’t get it. Live every day like you believe the promises of Jesus, smile, rejoice, praise, and by all means enjoy others so that they might enjoy you. We are people’s link between their being called and them recognizing they’re being called. We write the God reviews people read through the actions and attitudes in our daily living. Can people see the reflection of Jesus in you? That’s all Jesus wants for His birthday.
Happy Birthday, Jesus. I pray we each can and will grasp what a privilege it is to have Your Father’s Holy Spirit abiding within us, as well as the honor of being adopted as your brother or sister to abide with you in the house of God. Jesus, please help us to hear and understand Matthew 13:43 (NLT), Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s Kingdom. Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand! We bear witness to your attitude and love for all, which brings joy and peace from the most-high God. I shall become the evidence that the world seeks as your eternal rule over my life radiates your reflection from my actions. Lord, take my life and mold it into a suitable birthday gift worthy of your pleasure. You are the base of my joy! Amen
