Is It Possible?

Sunday’s Monday

I am hearing a lot of complaining, speculation and prophesying over the things that has happened thus far in 2020. What with severe storms, earthquakes, wildfires, and the pandemic of COVID 19, not to mention the ugliest election year in U.S. history. We seem to be living in dismay as we are confused in what to believe as all media sources have lost all integrity, most pulpits are dodging delicate issues, trying not to offend and word of mouth is merely a personal opinion, of which I have mine. I have been given the thought that all of this could be God answering prayer.

I can vividly remember early in my walk with Jesus, people told me to be careful what I pray for because God might just answer it. When I didn’t understand they used the example of patience. God doesn’t give one patience; He puts you in a position where you have to use patience to get through it. God later revealed to me that He always answers every prayer He hears but it’s His way, His time and for His purpose! Matthew 7:7-8 (ESV), 7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. For those that prayed for more time with the family, covid 19 gave us that time; for those that have prayed for God to show them how to love more, we have a world filled with division and hate; for those that pray for God to give them a ministry, there are storms, floods and wild fires to allow optimal opportunities to serve, for those undecided, He is bringing hidden things into the light and the list goes on. I think by now you know where I’m going with this. What we perceive as awful, God can use us for His good! It’s all in His timing, His plan and His control.

If this has hit a nerve or stirred you to meditation, like that candy commercial “not sorry!” We need to reacquaint ourselves with God’s voice and take heart to what He inspired in Matthew 7:9-11 (ESV), 9 Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? 11 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him! Do we, the believers in Jesus realize what an opportunity God has given us to be His light in the present condition of this world. There may never be a more opportune time (in our life time) to better demonstrate what God inspired in Matthew 7:12 (ESV), 12 “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Think on this which is written in 2 Corinthians 4:15 (ESV), For it is all for your sake, so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God. If you are alive today, it’s a must to know (and believe) you were created on purpose for a purpose! (not my words) I see God’s grace at work every day through those that have committed to follow Jesus, in their service to others. They have chosen to seize the moment in bringing God’s glorious love, mercy, and grace to those that suffer need. Should we not follow Jesus into the fields?

My prayer this week is from 2 Corinthians 9:12-15 (ESV), 12 For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God. 13 By their approval of this service, they[a] will glorify God because of your submission that comes from your confession of the gospel of Christ, and the generosity of your contribution for them and for all others, 14 while they long for you and pray for you, because of the surpassing grace of God upon you. 15 Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift! Dear Lord “please” grant us the wisdom from within this writing of your inspired word. May we each seize the moment in sharing your comforting love with others. Amen

HAVE A BLESSED WEEK BY BEING A BLESSING TO OTHERS!
