THE FOOL WITHIN ME?
Sunday’s Monday Have you heard or read, Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me? It is an old saying that simply means, if someone takes advantage of me twice, I only have myself to blame. The reasoning behind this saying is that once someone has shown himself to be deceptive, you should not be surprised when he again shows himself to be deceptive. The bible warns of this in Proverbs 26:11 (NLT), As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his foolishness.
STANDING HALF-COCKED!
Sunday’s Monday I had a (blast from the past) memory today after listening to a Rick Rigsby podcast. The blast was the song released by Aaron Tippin in 1991 titled You've Got To Stand For Something. In the lyrics of the song Tippin sings, “you got to stand for something, or you'll fall for anything.” Which characterized his daddy and those principles that guided his life. This is a very insightful and powerful song filled with the emotions to cause him and others to desire to
DE-STUPIDITIZING PEOPLE!

Situations, peer pressure, progress, and cyberspace have made the majority of people viciously skeptical of anything and everything. Far too many people have stopped looking for the proverbial silver lining that accompanies the clouds of life. Many slept through the class that taught, you
OUTSIDE THE BOX!
Sunday’s Monday We’ve all heard of the proverbial box, “aka” thinking outside the box, living outside the box, and so on. I have heard this term used for years and even used it often in my 35 years as a textile colorist. It is usually spoken of with the precision of a sniper using a modern military weapon, zeroing in on a target. Most of us give little thought to the ramifications when using the statement other than making a specific point at that moment. Yet with just a litt
